About STONE BEND FARM

CLOSED FOR BBQ8 from 8/28-830

True farm to table fare served in a one of a kind timber framed greenhouse. Not just pizza!

Located at 196 Porter Hill Rd, Newfield, NY 14867, STONE BEND FARM operates as a pizza restaurant serving Newfield in New York. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.

The business lists hours on 1 day of the week. The most common schedule is 12–9 PM. It is closed on Thursday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach STONE BEND FARM at (607) 307-8288; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is stonebend.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Listen, it’s not cheap, but where else are you getting wood fired pizza with an atmosphere like this in the middle of nowhere? Lol. The pizza is delicious. Great atmosphere in a greenhouse type structure. Music can get loud on the weekends, but there’s plenty of outside seating. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area.

Such a hidden gem, and one of the highlights on our anniversary trip to Ithaca from Detroit. From the first bite, my husband and I both agreed that this was the best pizza we've ever tasted. Local ingredients matter. People putting their heart into what they do matters. We visited early on a Sunday afternoon on our way to hiking at Robert Treman State Park (only 5 min away), and I only wish we had a chance to come back to experience the vibe on a Friday night.

Beautiful, serene pizza barn. This place was such a find, we wandered in very close to close and into the middle of someone’s birthday party. There was live music, and families with kids dancing and having a great time. Because it was near closing time, they were sold out of many options, always a risk with fresh farm-to-table, but they accommodated us with what they had, and the pizza was fantastic. I can’t say enough about the atmosphere, it feels so alive. When we dined here they hadn’t finished construction fully. Restrooms were outhouses, and the front of the barn was still a construction zone. We spoke to the (very warm and kind) owner who mentioned that they were a few weeks away from completing the indoor restroom facilities. Very strongly recommend checking this place out. Well worth it.

This is an amazing place, authentic local and every thing is home grown, baked in clay stoves, brilliant ambiance. Food always taste best when it has love of chef added. I will recommend this place for evening dinners as at night thr vibe will be much more happening. I came in at 4pm when they open but I feel at night with all lights and crowd in this place will be magical. Staff was amazing too, they were super nice and s conversational. Washrooms are also super clean πŸ‘ŒπŸΌ.

Awesome place. Very cool half giant sun room/green house half sprawling pole barn. Super unique and super cool! Cozy during the winter, with propane heaters, a wood stove and a wood fired pizza oven keeping the place an excellent temp. There’s also lots of outdoor seating options for the nice weather, and the property itself is very cool. It’s a work in progress and it’s so great to see the care and creativity being put into the space! Great spot for events, music, hanging with large parties. Highly recommend! The pizza is good too, they could be a bit bigger for the price, but they are dense and the dough is tasty - one of the better wood fired pizza operations I’ve experienced. They do take out with legit pizza boxes too which is nice!
